Serving the Citizen Efficiently
through Multi-access Channels
24 April 2007, Cheltenham Race Course
Joining up services around the citizens' needs will mean breaking
down organisational barriers, working in new ways and investing
in new technologies.
This conference will explore through case studies and expert input:
- guidance on how you can start thinking of citizens instead of
customers, ie joining up services around the individual, rather
than the service area
- examples of efficiency gains in running contact centres or other
access channels
- the organisational and technical challenges that need to be
overcome in implementing customer self-service and multi-access
technologies
- methods for encouraging take-up of self-service channels
- the pros and cons of various self-service channels
CIBER will be on hand in the exhibition area to explain how they
have developed solutions in partnership with Microsoft to meet the
needs of the citizen and the organisation. Departmental applications
may have been acquired or developed to meet the needs of specific
business functions. The challenge now is how to integrate these
systems, to share the information they contain, to the degree required
by your CRM strategy. CIBER and Microsoft have the tools and technologies
which can help with integration, as well as collaboration, even
if you have already selected or implemented an alternative CRM application.
CIBER has worked with many local authorities and government departments
to deliver a range of solutions from e-Pay solutions using Microsoft
Commerce Server and Freedom of Information solutions utilising Microsoft
Sharepoint Server at Royal Borough of Kingston, to system integration
solutions with Microsoft BizTalk Server at Derby City Council and
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. CIBER has also delivered
CRM solutions at States of Jersey and Derby City Council.
CIBER UK has the experience and expertise to help make best use
of these functional technologies to deliver business benefits with
a rapid return on investment.
